This was used on Franklin Cars between 1924 and 1928. The Franklin Automobile Company was located in Syracuse, New York. They made cars between 1902 to 1934. They were a relatively an expensive car and air cooled. The company was named after it’s founder H.H. Franklin.

This hood ornament was produced in 1929 of a very poor base material resulting in very few in nice enough condition to be restored to Concours Quality.
