This incredible early 30’s hood ornament is extremely rare.
It has been beautifully restored to a Concours Quality chrome plated finish and placed on a beautiful piece of Cocobolo hardwood base from the jungles Costa Rico. This is a beautiful piece for any collector.
Highly detailed brass-based sculpture signed and designed by the world-renowned artist Demetre Chiparus. The base is handcrafted from the wart knot of a maple tree which gives it a highly unique grain pattern.
This is an original 1929 Packard Sliding Boy hood ornament. He has been refinished with incredible detail maintained and a chrome plated finish per original. We then installed him on an amazing handcrafted cherry wood base to replicate the original radiator cap.

This was used on Franklin Cars between 1924 and 1928. The Franklin Automobile Company was located in Syracuse, New York. They made cars between 1902 to 1934. They were a relatively an expensive car and air cooled. The company was named after it’s founder H.H. Franklin.
